Capcity

Now that we have mastered measuring length and width, we wanted to learn how to measure liquid.   Of course the girls already now how to use a meausring cup when preparing recipes :)   "Lacie" learned that 2 cups equal 1 pint and 2 pints equal 1 quart. Gracie reviewed the bacis concepts and explored metric measurements.   We compared liters and quarts.

We discovered  1 gallon = 4  quarts = 3.78 liters.  Thus, a liter is larger than a quart.
